As promised 2 more weeks worth the pictures.
Josh, Mallory and I went to the Royals game on Saturday. They did Christmas in July, so we got some Santa hats. It was a lot of fun. By about the 7th inning Mallory was ready to go.
Mallory and mommy
Last week we watched Mallory's BFF Janie. The girls had a blast doing stuff outside.
Mallory is saying 'cheese' in this picture
eating Popsicles
playing in the pool
swinging together...this was their favorite activity
There were a couple of times they got close to hitting each other but I intersected before there was a collision
This was the only picture I could get with them both facing the same way
On July 3rd we went to Barb's co-workers house for fireworks. They were quite impressive...but Mallory wasn't very happy about it.
She would rip the shirt off your back if she could because they were so loud. Nana took her inside and she enjoyed them much better from afar.
This was the 1st time we turned on the sprinkler...Mallory wasn't very happy about it. She kept her distance until I turned it off.
Dad and Mal cooling off their feet after a long day
A couple of Saturday's ago we went to my friend Natalie and Thomas' house for a birthday/engagement party. They had a cool slip n' slide for the kids. Mallory wasn't into the sliding part too much but she enjoyed splashing around in the giant puddle
We had our 24 week checkup last Friday. I was supposed to do my glucose test then but they postponed it until my 28 week checkup. Everything looks good. I've only gained 10 lbs so far. The baby's heartbeat was 150...it keeps going up. The 1st appt the baby's heartbeat was 143, then 146 and now 150. But to us that doesn't say anything about the gender because Mallory was in the 140/150 until the last 2 weeks...then her heartbeat shot up to 160. So we'll see what happens. It's hard to believe that this pregnancy is already 1/2 over. We still have a lot of work to get done before #2 comes along. Wish us luck. It's not easy getting stuff done w/ a toddler running around.
